Calling all innovators in transport and related industries – TMR wants to connect with you to do things differently and better.
The TMR MIXr is a free one-day event connecting TMR and other government staff and industry with opportunities for collaboration, partnerships and problem solving.
A/Deputy Director-General Corporate Peter Milward said the TMR MIXr will educate industry about TMR priorities and business challenges and open government staff to the potential R&D and innovations industry is developing.
“The opening session will see a panel of experts debate their perceptions of how government and industry can work together to be ready to tackle the disruptions ahead,” she said.
“This will be followed by fast-paced 10 minute presentations profiling TMR’s real-world business challenges, government innovations, and transport and related industry research and development.
“The afternoon session will match up industry and government staff for facilitated networking, giving people the chance to talk directly about their common areas of interest.
“The TMR MIXr is ‘no obligation innovation’. Participation does not imply a commitment or agreement to take up the opportunities on offer but it is a great opportunity to get a glimpse of what’s new in industry, and let industry know about our great track record of innovation.”
